Because much of today’s housing is uninspired repetitious suburbia drivel, it can easily go unnoticed how many small architectural firms in the US are doing great work one project at a time.
This house by Chen Suchart Studio in Tempe Arizona is one example.
Tempe is a small land-locked city just to the East of Phoenix, and the home of Arizona State University. To fit in, Chen Suchart Studio designed this modern cubed themed house that offers casual outdoor play space to engage the environment, while retaining just enough privacy in the living spaces for its urban street corner location.
