Green Zeppelin
More and more architects are jumping on the boat (or in this case zeppelin) to build “green” vacation houses. We’ve seen more traditional architecture for retreat houses in Lost River Cabin, Taking Form In The Forest and Come Fly With Me, but now if you’ve ever fantasized about spending your vacation in a modern “green” zeppelin, let’s just say your ship has come in.
The bonus for Cocoon from Bellemo & Cat is you’ll be vacationing in Australia.
The architects describe Cocoon as “a matchbox inside and egg, a rectangle within an oval.” Given this as their inspiration we’d have to say Bellemo & Cat have pulled it off.
If you like what you see (or just need an excuse to vacation in Australia), Cocoon can be rented at $240 per night. Read post in Inhabitat.
